When you mention The Jaggerz to a Pittsburgher, chances are that person will burst into a chorus of ‘The Rapper’. From the ‘Club Natural’ in Beaver Falls PA to Dick Clarks ‘American Bandstand’ in Hollywood CA was a long way off, but Benny Faiella, Donnie Iris, Jimmie Ross, Bill Maybray, Tom Davies and Jim Pugliano Collectively known as The Jaggerz, made it.
In 1968, Gamble Records of Philadelphia signed the band to it’s first recording contract. The Wrangler Band – 1:00pm – 2:00pm (Sponsored by Duraloy Technologies) |
|
The Wrangler Band is a country-rock and classic rock band, hailing from western Pennsylvania. The band plays a variety of music, ranging from today’s top-of-the-charts modern country hits to yesterday’s classic 80’s rock. Bring your family out for an evening of music and fun and don’t forget to stop by after the show and say hello. We’d love to meet you!
The beginning of the Wrangler Band goes back to the year 1977. It was only a couple years before when Ron, age of 5, and Randy, age of 7, were being taught chords on the guitar by their father, Roy. In 1977 Ron and Randy were ready to show the world their abilities by the time they reached ages 7 and 9. Two other band members were added at that time, both around the ages of 8, to make the band complete. They named the band “R.G. and Country,” stemming from their initials. The name was later changed to “The Country Wranglers” and then finally to “The Wrangler Band.” The memories that they have created in the past 28 years will be cherished in the hearts of all their fans and band members. They invite you to share in these memories and to help create new ones for the future. |

Broom the Band – 3:30pm – 4:30pm (Sponsored by Huffman’s Auto) | |
Broom is a 5-piece rock band from Belle Vernon, PA. All of the members of the band come from a strong classic rock influence, and that is obvious when you put on one of their songs. With a common thread but different passions, you can hear all of their touches with every song they play. Enjoy catchy hooks with rockin’ riffs as the band sweeps you away with their high energy music!Broom was founded in 2020 with no huge aspirations. They were just a group of friends who wanted to jam together and maybe play some shows. However, once the core lineup of Race Michener (vocals), Bodie DuBreucq, Ben Filak (both guitar), Caleb Beichner (bass) and Carter Stasicha (drums) was set in stone, the band realized they had something special in their hands. With influences ranging from 60s classic rock to modern progressive metal, the band’s tone has grown into an incredibly unique yet accessible arena rock sound. |
